GLENDALE, Ariz. — Arizona has placed centre Brad Richardson on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, running the Coyotes’ listing of missing regulars around six.

Richardson had been injured in Arizona’s 4-3 overtime victory over Vancouver on Thursday and the Coyotes said he per week to week.

He joins goalie Antti Raanta, forwards Nick Schmaltz, Michael Grabner, Christian Fischer along with defenseman Jason Demers outside with injuries.

Richardson, that was confined by 16 games because of injuries in 2016 17, has 11 goals and five assists in 40 games this season.

Schmaltz, acquired by Chicago in a November trade, has gone outside for the remainder of the growing summer season having a lower-body injury and Raanta might be as well.
