London Broncos head coach Danny Ward told BBC Sport:“In the beginning of last season I told the boys they were effective at being Super League players now they’ve got that opportunity.
“Additionally, there are lads who’ve played at the Super League academy system for any number of years and it is really a big challenge for them to step up.
“As coaches we’re about developing and making them hopefully they’ll appear well in 2013 “
Wakefield boss Chris Chester told BBC Radio Leeds:“They will be well up with this game and we’re playing them on a 4G pitch as well which they are used to.
“It’s important we come from the cubes flying – we did it last year, won our first four, and that set us up for the rest of the season.
“But we weren’t a frequent team last year and that’s just one major thing we’re trying to do the job on. We’ve signed some fantastic senior pros who’ve brought a true honesty to out and training on the pitch”
