Striker Andre Schurrle says he has been misquoted in articles that suggested he needed to leave Fulham should they’re relegated and called on fans to”stick together and fight’til the ending”.

From the interview, he also says his loan from Borussia Dortmund will end if 19th-placed Fulham return back.

“It isn’t even close to what I said. Just very bad translating,” he also tweeted.

Schurrle referred to a”newspaper” within his conversation and said this article was”out of context and seeking to generate a false headline”.

“Let us stick together and fight’til the ending,” he added.

Since linking in July up a two-year loan deal has been signed by schurrle and it has scored six goals in 22 appearances in all competitions such as Fulham.

Claudio Ranieri’s side have just three league wins since August and sit seven points adrift of both 17th-placed Burnley.
