Harlequins back-row forward Renaldo Bothma has received a four-game prohibit for striking at an opponent in the home Premiership Cup defeat by Saracens on 25.
The Namibia captain is free to play again on 1-2 March.
“the gamer accepted the charge at the first opportunity,” said board chairman Philip Evans QC.
“And he had made contact with the head of this resistance player. The compulsory mid-range entry purpose was therefore implemented.
“As a result of the player’s disciplinary record, he was not entitled to full reduction but was given a couple of weeks’ credit for his plea, instantaneous apology on-field and guilt”
Bothma is currently in his 2nd season with the London club after registering from South African Super Rugby facet the Bulls.
