“A Treta”, that shot on Livinha Souza finally Saturday’s UFC Fortaleza in Brazil and lost via split selection, didn’t even come near making the straWWEight limit for its bout, coming in at 1 2 3 pounds on Friday. And according to her manager and coach Marcelo Brigadeiro, Frota is likely to compete in flyweight going.
Frota’s win at Contender Series August, a quick knockout win over Maiara Amanajas, was her first time competing in 115 lbs, and weight was left by her for this bout. But, the Brazilian fighter to perform better at 125 lbs is expected by Brigadeiro.
“She left weight well (for the Contender Series struggle ) and if it wasn’t for her period she would have left weight today,” Brigadeiro told MMA Fighting, “But she makes too worried about the weight, keeps dedicated to her weight, and also not in her training, to get a few months and a half, so that I think she’s going to feel better at her new fat class. ”
