Even the Milwaukee Bucks have obtained Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans in market for Jason Smith, Stanley Johnson along with four second-round selections, sources told ESPN’s Zach Lowe along with Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
The offer also includes the Detroit Pistons, who had traded Johnson to the Bucks on Wednesday. According to sources, the Pelicans will get second-round selections from the Bucks in 20-19 (via Denver), 2 in 2020 (via Washington and Milwaukee) and 2021 (via Washington).
Mirotic, who’s making $12.5 million in 2013, is likely to be an unrestricted free agent . He’s also making 2.7 3 pointers per match, tied for ninth at the NBA.
The Bucks are averaging 13.3 made 3 pointers per match, which ranks second behind Houston (15.4).
He had been the eighth overall pick in the 2015 draft.
A first-round choice in 2007, the 32-year-old Smith is averaging 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 2013. He combined the Bucks after being acquired by Washington at a three-team commerce in December that additionally contained Cleveland.
