Champions League side Metz Handball’s trainer signed up a contract into the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.


“I am very happy and honoured to be able to fulfill this position.  The Netherlands has many good players, whom I have often played with my team Metz.  I understand the qualities of these players, have a very clear plan in your mind and anticipate working together with them,” Mayonnade told the official web site of this NHV.


Though it’s his first foray into national team training, Mayonnade is well known for his job with Metz. The team counts eight associates of the France national team — the current environment and newly crowned champions, in addition to German Xenia Smits and also Croatia goal keeper Ivana Kapitanovic.
