Manchester United defender Ashley Young has already now just signed up a contract extension with the club until 2020.

The 33-year-old deal was due to expire in the summer.

Young is among the longest-serving players of United also it has been made skipper.

He joined United for £17m from Aston Villa in 2011, winning League Cup, FA Cup, Europa League and the Premier League and making 227 appearances.

Young follows Anthony Martial along with Phil Jones in registering new deals with the club.
