Almost 30 years have passed since ’s Class of burst on to the scene.

David Beckham, Gary and Phil Neville, , Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt are the most famous six – that the newest kids on the block who’d carry on to win the historical Treble of , FA Cup and seven decades later.

More than a quarter of a century later, however, ’s proteges and their former teammates have hung up their boots and entered fresh characters.

Five of these even bought a soccer club together – Salford City in 2014 – while Beckham combined them at the club in January like a director.

Simon Davies made 20 first-team looks – scoring the opening goal in a 4-0 win over Galatasaray in 1994 – before playing for clubs including Bangor, Macclesfield and Luton.
