Back-row Ryan Wilson has already been inserted into Scotland’s long injury list and will miss the remainder of the Six Nations.
Fullback Stuart Hogg and centre Huw Jones also picked up knee and shoulder injuries.
Both remain section of Gregor Townsend’s squad and will be evaluated by means of a specialist this week before the visit to France on 2-3.
Wilson’s absence will be felt, using back-row forwards Magnus Bradbury, Hamish Watson, Sam Skinner, Dave Denton, Blade Thomson, John Hardie and John Barclay already missing.
Glasgow and Newcastle’s Gary Graham are likely to be the leading contenders to start at Paris.
