JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed kicker Josh Lambo into a Student contract extension.

Lambo declared the deal through his Twitter webpage:

Lambo has missed only three of his 4 1 field goal attempts (and just 3 of 44 PATs) since joining the Jaguars in October 20 17. That comprised a franchise-record 2 4 consecutive field goal efforts from Nov. 19, 2017, to November 11, 2018.

Lambo could be the kicker in history to place backtoback seasons using a field goal percentage of 90 percent. He it has made six of his seven attempts of 50 yards or more with the Jaguars, also made 19 of 20 field goal attempts in 19 and 20 17 of 21 efforts in 2018.

Lambo missed this 2018 season’s last three matches with a groin injury.

He left 52 of his own 6 4 field goal efforts nevertheless the team chose to maintain rookie Younghoe Koo. Koo was cut after one month.
