Bellator 2-16 welterweight headliners Michael Page and Paul Daley were among the six fighters to have drug test samples collected on Wednesday in in front of the weekend’s fights.

MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi confirmed an initial report by ESPN that in addition to Page and Daley, Bellator 215 mainevent heavy weight Sergei Kharitonov, and Bellator 216 co-main event heavy-weights Mirko Cro Cop and Roy Nelson were all subject to random drug tests. Kharitonov fights against Matt Mitrione, who’s also predicted to be analyzed.

The Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations are Over-seeing Bellator 215 and Bellator 216, which take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

A World Grand Prix opening round bout between Page and also Daley will serve as the Bellator 216 Head Liner.
