OFFICIAL STATEMENT: All three fines for its club issued by Handball’s Court are supported by the instance.
The Court of Appeal has rejected the appeal filed by the club PGE Vive Kielce against the conclusion of the Court of Handball left handed on 20 December 2018 following incidents happened during the VELUX EHF Champions League match between PGE Vive Kielce (POL) along with H C Vardar (MKD) played 14 October 2018.
The appeal body supported all findings of Handball’s Court that:
- The club players and officials adopted an unsportsmanlike behaviour by getting involved to some brawl.
- The club neglected to undertake all measures necessary to guarantee security and safety in the playing hall.
- The club is accountable for the behavior of their fans having affixed an offensive and ideological banner.
A recourse into the EHF Court of Arbitration may be filed within 21 days.
