Skills competition

Mike Conley
Memphis Grizzlies
Guard | Grade: C+

Results
Round 1: Expunged by Jayson Tatum

Analysis
Having successfully completed his first pass attempt, Conley had a enormous effect on Jayson Tatum moving in to the 3-point element of this contest. The 3-5 percent 3-point shot missed his first two efforts.

Results
Round 1: Defeated Kyle Kuzma
Round two: Expunged by

Analysis
Doncic cruised through the course in half-speed and attempted to bank at 3 pointers from half court to compose his huge deficits. As Doncic made his second 3 Unexpectedly, this plan worked in the opening round. However he also came up empty.

De’Aaron Fox
Sacramento Kings
Guard

Results
Round 1: Expunged by

Analysis
In hindsight, Fox probably didn’t utilize his speed to develop a large enough advantage over when Young needed all three efforts at the departure channel. Fox coasted to his 3, that has been the opportunity, and that he overlooked.

Results
Round 1: Defeated Nikola Vucevic
Round two: Expunged by Jayson Tatum

Analysis
Jokic’s trademark one-hand passing was hit (he made his very first attempt in the 2nd round) and miss (he started 0-for-2 at the opening around ). His ability came in the very first round in handy, although he came from behind to win a struggle of Nikolas, but let down him if he missed both efforts to Jayson Tatum in a loss.

Kyle Kuzma
LosAngeles Lakers
Forward | Grade: C

Results
Round 1: Expunged by Luka Doncic

Analysis
Kuzma had every opportunity to beat the slow moving Doncic in the very first round but managed to get this done, overlooking multiple 3-point efforts.

Grade: B+

Results
Round 1: Defeated Mike Conley
Round 2: Defeated
Final: Defeated

Analysis
Tatum’s victory resisted the”skills” section of their skills challenge, which has been paid down to an issue of who are able to earn a 3-pointer first under the current head-to-head format. Tatum needed three efforts at the drill into each of the initial two rounds only to triumph when their efforts were missed by his rivals. He was way behind when he started from beyond halfcourt, making the heave to claim the trophy, though Tatum’s departure was accurate at the final.

Grade: B-

Results
Round 1: Expunged by

Analysis
Vucevic’s round has been clean, but he missed his first shot attempt and rival knocked down his, eliminating the Magic center and first time All-Star.

Trae Young
Atlanta Hawks
Guard

Results
Round 1: Defeated De’Aaron Fox
Round 2: Defeated Luka Doncic
Final: Expunged by Jayson Tatum

Analysis
After coming from behind at the opening round, Young chose the non-shooting section of the class most seriously — albeit with the assistance of a loose definition of”dribbling” the ball upcourt (he threw the ball ahead to himself before grabbing up). Young gave maximum effort and was way in front of Tatum just to be felled by Tatum’s make from half court.
