Chicago’s celebrity third-baseman emphasized his comments concerning St. Louis were directed at firing up Cubs fans and he’s willing to clear the atmosphere with Yadier Molina, even if the Cardinals catcher feels that’s necessary.

“If he’s willing to,” Bryant explained. I am not taking anything backagain. It was only kind of I think things were taken out of context a little bit”

The context is that Bryant was a guest on stage with broadcaster Ryan Dempster and former Cubs pitcher, whose latenight comedy show has become a staple in Cubs Convention. In their chat, Dempster mentioned that Bryant met rapper Nelly while attending a Florida-Georgia Line concert in Las Vegas, where in fact the third baseman and also his buddy, Bryce Harper, live in the offseason.

“He’s a big Cardinals fan,” Bryant said on point of Nelly.

It is happening on the opening night time for Cubs Convention on Jan. 18, while the Cardinals were hanging off their particular fan fest in St. Louis. By the next morning, a movie of the market between Bryant and Dempster made the rounds on social media and some Cardinals players responded.

About Insta-gram, Marcell Ozuna criticized the Cubs by saying,”They talk like tigers, but ultimately they gonna be like little cat”

The retort of Brebbia amused bryant.

“It’s the perfect response to it,” Bryant explained. “I kind of got a laugh out of it”

Molina also occurred to Insta-gram, observing”players and leaders in their own teams do not speak bad about any city. You should compete and play and there needs to be respect with respect. Only stupid players and winners make remarks just like the ones made by Bryant and Dempster.”

Bryant believed Molina came on a little strong with this reply.

“Yeah. I think therefore,” Bryant explained. “I felt just like I wasn’t attacking anyone. I wasn’t attacking anyone’s family, the fans, the organization. I wasn’t attacking anyone. It was taken out of context. I do not understand. You’d have to ask him exactly what he thinks about it, if he’s got anything. But it did come off a little strong — kinda caught me off guard a little bit”

The Cubs visit St. Louis for its first time in 20-19 for a three-game show beginning on May 3 1. Mark your calendars. Bryant said while he’s in the city he might plan some tasks across the city.

“You know what? I may have to explore just a bit once I make it happen — find some extra stuff to do,” Bryant said with a grin. “I’ve definitely heard about some things more to accomplish there, that I could actually find out and try to do”
