Both outfielders bat lefthanded, as does A-Lex Verdugo, or so the depth in the outfield is going to be diminished with Toles absent.

Toles has had a tough past. He had been ignored from 2011 from the University of Tennessee’s baseball club, and he had been suspended ’12. Tampa Bay drafted him in the third round that season, but he had been disciplined from the Minor Leagues and has been published in’15.

Toles worked temporarily at a Georgia grocery store while out from this game, but has been signed with the Dodgers at September 2015. They shipped him to start the’16 year, to Double-A Tulsa for 2 weeks and Triple-A Oklahoma City to get a week before encouraging him.

Toles emerged in 48 games and posted a .870 OPS, and a starring character from the club’s loss to the Cubs in the National League Championship Series. He started 2017 at the lineup, but on May 9 tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and has been lost for this season. In triple a, Toles started 2018 Using an outfielder logjam and appeared at only 17 games.

Toles’ whirlwind transformation has been linked to Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, who drafted Toles when the Tampa Bay Rays ran.
