As Sunday’s Daytona 500 led into overtime, Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch were working with each other to stay out front.
Logano, that had one of fastest cars in Sunday’so rush , was searching for a push within an attempt to rundown the duo. McDowell chosen to go utilize Busch, although he also looked to fellow Ford driver Michael McDowell.
Hamlin ended up with the success since Logano finished fourth and McDowell fifth. Logano expressed his displeasure with McDowell at a dialog on pit road after the race.

Asked about his own dialog using Logano, McDowell said: “I simply told him my team doesn’t pay me push Joey Logano to a win. This ’s not exactly that which I get paid to do.
