England batsman Gary Ballance has already signed a new contract with Yorkshire until this 2021 season’s end.
Ballance chose a break from cricket past might for motives, giving the captaincy into seamer Steven Patterson.
“I’ve played for this very long time, I really like the lads and what about Yorkshire,” he told the club website.
“The challenge has changed into a slightly different one, but you can find so many great players, talented guys who’ve played well throughout the past couple of decades.”
Zimbabwe-born Ballance also scored 1,422 runs at 2018 around all of formats for Yorkshire and last played for England in July 2017.
