It’s becoming increasingly apparent that a snag over card placement is the biggest holdup to a potential conor-mcgregor vs. Donald Cerrone struggle.

Only days after color commentator Joe Rogan said on his podcast that a dispute between McGregor and the over whether McGregor would show up in the co-feature area is holding up a potential struggle on July 6 in Las Vegas between both popular competitions, Cerrone himself confirmed that is the case.

At a study on ESPN.com Thursday, Cerrone says that McGregor will only accept headline fights.

The idea for this particular bout came about after Cerrone’s impressive success over Alexander Hernandez at Brooklyn on July 19. His interest was tweeted by mcGregor at the bout, and in the beginning , they tried to make it.

”We were waiting on Conor for April, and he said he wasn’t ” Cerrone stated. “I don’t know the way in one breath you can say, ‘I’ll fight anybody, anytime, anywhere,’ and also the subsequent individual say, ‘I’m not ready for that one. ’

McGregor is responsible for each of those six biggest PPV sellers in history, which includes both of his struggles together with Nate Diaz, neither that were championship fights. His most recent bout, with a loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, did a record 2.4 M buys.

For his part, wants to struggle on whether it’s McGregor or yet another opponent. Al Iaquinta was cited as a possibility. In any event, Cerrone sounds fed up with the play.

”I telephone the and inform them what to do ” Cerrone stated. “I don’t have any say on that stuff. What I do understand is July will be that your I’m. That’s that the f*ckng brand new. I will not wait. ”
