Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he is in”shock” after being given an”unfair” two-match touchline ban for angrily facing referee Mike Dean after his side’s 2-1 defeat at Burnley.
Pochettino stated he”crossed the line” in the 23 February league match and made a public apology to Dean.
“I am in shock. I still think it’s unfair. I can do nothing,” he said.
“I feel somewhat sad with the punishment. I will have to wait patiently and observe what they put on the main reason why and the letter to prohibit me. That’s incredible, no!”
He said he wanted”to talk somewhat more” with the FA before deciding whether to appeal.
“I think we have been waiting after Wednesday [for] the letter from the FA nonetheless it’s still not arrived,” he said.
“I’m so curious to find out why they chose to accomplish everything they did. Two-game prohibit is completely unfair and I WISh to see why and talk a bit more.”
