Multiple teams approached the Chicago Bears at the scouting combine last week to discuss a potential trade for running back Jordan Howard, league sources told ’s Adam Schefter on Thursday.

The 24-year-old Howard finished the regular season but questions remain concerning whether he’s a easily fit in coach ’s crime.

Resources said talks about a possible bargain for Howard are ongoing.

Howard, who’s entering the last season of the first rookie contract at an average salary of $2.02 million, rushed for 935 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He also caught 20 passes.

Backfield partner Tarik Cohen, who managed the bulk of playing time at passing situations, made the Pro Bowl after catching 71 moves for 725 yards and six TDs. However, he had 99 in comparison to Howard’s 250 carries.

He followed up with another 1,122 rushing yards and eight TDs at 20 17.
