After Junior Hoilett and Victor Camarasa earned a vital win, Warnock said:”I did not have to say that the rumours of a divide at the camp, the lads were all talking about it.
“I thought we were fabulous today.”
Warnock’s view was backed by goal-scorer Hoilett, who said that the group are similar to”brothers” and clarified rumours of a divide into the dressing room as”nonsense”.
Even the Cardiff boss considers the victory, which came on the rear of three beats using an aggregate score of 10-1 and before a three-week hiatus because of the global fracture and FA Cup quarterfinals, was the most important of the season.
“It only brings a couple more clubs straight back into the package, which makes a couple more clubs nervous,” Warnock, whose side are 18th in the Premier League, told BBC Sport Wales. “You can find the confidence we took out of it.
“It is probably our biggest win of this season – but only because we were so poor in the matches that came before it.
“You will find were plenty of advantages and a great deal of replying of critics. I couldn’t ask much more of them.”
Warnock showed man of the match Victor Camarasa, that had been substituted after an hour or so in his first home start since January because of injury, was just experiencing cramp when he had been taken off.
“He just must give me an hour or so if he plays like that,” that the 70-year-old joked.
