Alexandre Lacazette is eligible to play at the next leg of Arsenal’s Europa League last-16 tie Rennes on Thursday after his ban has been paid off.
The striker was prohibited for three European matches by UEFA after getting shipped away in the first leg of Arsenal’s game against Bate Borisov at February.
It was later reduced to two matches – which the 27-year-old has recently served – afterwards Arsenal appealed.
Rennes have a 3-1 guide following the first leg against Arsenal on 7 March.
Lacazette was shipped off for elbowing Bate defender Aleksandar Filipovic on 14 February. He missed the 2nd leg of their Bate tie and also the leg against Rennes.
