midfielder Declan Rice will be Appointed in England’s squad for Euro 20 20 qualifiers against the and Montenegro in March.

Rice, 20, switched his international allegiance from the Republic of Ireland to England in a move recently ratified by world governing body Fifa.

London-born Rice played three times for the Republic however qualified for England as these were friendly appearances.

England sponsor the Czechs on 22 March and so are away in Montenegro on 25 March.

Rice, who’s Irish grand parents, played for the Republic from Under 16 level and went on to make three mature friendly outings this past year, for example matches against France and the United States before the 2018 World Cup.

He broke to the first team at the start of the season also, as he considered his own international future, has been chased from Republic squads because playing competitive games would have ceased him switching allegiance.
