Durant abandoned Sunday’s 115-111 decrease to the Phoenix Suns at the fourth quarter after turning his arm and did not return.

Despite some initial concern in Oracle Arena, Warriors coach didn’t sound concerned about the injury following this game.

“I think he is going to be right,” Kerr said after the game. “He needed a ankle contusion, however I actually don’t believe it’s bad. I spoke to him briefly. He didn’t seem to think that it had been overly bad”

The drama came with 6 minutes, 34 seconds left in regulation after Durant jumped up to earn a pass and came back on Suns centre Deandre Ayton‘s foot.

Durant remained down for a minute before walking the floor and going directly back to the locker room with associates of the Warriors training team and general manager Bob Myers.

Wednesday’s game in Houston marks the beginning of a four-game road trip for Golden State.
