New York — In what the NFL is calling that a”Fantennial” celebration, the league will present two season tickets to the next century to your competition winner as a portion of their 100th season of drama.
Besides devoting one-person two tickets to their team of choice to 100 decades, the winner may pass down the tickets through future generations while also using exclusive team adventures and also an NFL Shop lifetime discount.
“The NFL was built to multigenerational fandom that bonds people together,” commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday. “Giving a century’s worth of NFL season tickets could function as the single greatest sports decoration ever agreed to your fan. It represents 100 years filled with incredible memories to talk with the people who matter .”
The team was made in 1920 in Canton, Ohio, under the name American Professional Football Association, and had 14 franchises. The title changed to National Football League in 1922.
To acquire the tickets for the next 100 decades, fans have to clarify their loyalty with their own favorite team in a social media post (@NFL and #NFL100Contest within a Insta-gram post of a movie or video, or within a tweet). The competition opened Thursday and closes April 7. Three finalists will be flown to Nashville, Tennessee, site of the NFL draft, and the winner will be announced during the initial round of this draft on April 25.
“Our research finds that almost half of most NFL fans with a favorite team are multi-generational, meaning at least one of these parents had been also a fan of the team,” said Julie Haddon, the team’s senior vice president of global brand and consumer marketing. “Those strong family bonds may strengthen a fan’s feeling that they are a part of their favorite team”
