Premiership negative Exeter Chiefs have agreed a fresh two-year contract using ex-Australia flanker Dave Dennis.

The 33-year-old was part of Exeter’s title-winning side in 2016-17 and helped the Chiefs win against the anglo welsh Cup last season.

“if you’re playing , you want to be a member of a team,” Dennis explained.

“I’ve been blessed to have experienced any success already with the club, but there is still lots we would like to achieve over these next couple of years.”

Injuries hampered Dennis last season after he injured a bicep in practice, which ruled him out for the rest of the campaign.

“I understand I am not getting any younger but, at the close of the afternoon, it’s wonderful to place everything to bed and realize that I will be here for a couple more seasons,” he added.
