Former UFC interim light weight winner Tony Ferguson has been served with a restraining order with respect to his wife earlier this week, however, has received a show of support in an unlikely source, Conor McGregor.
McGregor and Ferguson are rivals inside the Octagon, but the Irishman doesn’t appear ready to make the most of Ferguson’s most recent out-of-the-cage problems. He alternatively directed a few words of encouragement into the troubled lightweight contender.
“Tony Ferguson may be the type of guy that when all the chips come down, then can pick them straight back up again and again return stronger than ever before! ” McGregor composed on Twitter.
“returned by a debilitating accident in record time to give us of those fights of the season! Let’s move Tony!! ”

The latest situation involving police happened on March 8 when six police units were discharged to the Ferguson’s Santa Ana, Calif., home. Based on a police record, Cristina told authorities that she was in her parents house when Tony turned up and chose their two-year old son straight back with their own home and changed the locks to the doors. She stated that she didn’t worry about the protection of the child. After ascertaining that there was no custody order and a offense hadn’t already been perpetrated, authorities abandoned.
That incident followed several others dating back to January 2018.
Tony last fought UFC 229 at October 2018 beating former winner Anthony Pettis from TKO. He also earned a Battle of the evening bonus and is currently riding an 11-fight winning streak, the longest winning streak in UFC light weight history.
McGregor continues to be beset by issues away from the Octagon. He was recently arrested on felony charges after beating and also taking a fan’s telephone number. That followed his offender arrest in April 2018 later he along with several cohorts invaded the loading field following a UFC 223 press day to strike a van packed with UFC fighters that included Khabib Nurmagomedov along with Rose Namajunas.
