England and Wasps scrum half Dan Robson is currently facing a spell out of action after suffering with blood clots.

The 27-year-old, who won his second cover in last weekend’s Six Nations success on Italy, was put to be named to the bench for the game against Scotland.

His club Wasps have said”it really is too premature” to ensure when he’ll return, casting doubt over his World Cup hopes.

“He is being evaluated and treated with specialists at the moment. At this point it’s too premature to provide a return-to-play day “

Robson was substituted at the England team to face Scotland on Saturday from Saracens half-back Ben Spencer, together with fellow scrumhalves Danny Care and Richard Wigglesworth are additionally currently out through trauma.
