FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — As much as the possibility of having fun his brother appealed to him, tight end Martellus Bennett is staying retired.

“I’d really like to play basketball together with my brother; it would truly be a dream come true. But my main dream is to improve lives together with my creativity and that is what I am (doing) now,” Bennett said in an Instagram post.

The possibility of Bennett appearing out of retirement has been triggered after his brother Michael was acquired by the New England Patriots in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago.

Martellus Bennett won a superbowl championship with all in 20-16, also it has spoken glowingly of the period with all the franchise. He’d returned briefly to in 2017, landing on injured reserve before slipping.

He’s launched a creative agency, with the goal at inspiring childhood.

“I appreciate all the love yet that is waaaaayyy larger compared to the game of football,” he wrote on Instagram.
