Amy Jones scored 76 and managed two runouts since England’s women sealed a comfortable 3-0 oneday series whitewash in Sri Lanka.

The hosts were restricted to 174 all out from their 50 overs at Katunayake.

Openers Jones and Tammy Beaumont (63) got England’s chase away to a solid start, gaining 127 to the first wicket.

Lauren Winfield (29) and Heather Knight subsequently carried England to success in just 26.1 overs.

All three ODIs count towards the ICC Women’s Championship, which determines eligibility for the 2021 worldcup.

England currently face Sri Lanka in three Twenty20 internationals, which start on Sunday 24 March (04:30 GMT).
