The set of participants lining around for the PFL’s $ 1million trophy became much more intriguing with the newest roster show to the 20-19 season.
With just about all the past season’s winners returning (with the exclusion of light heavyweight Sean O’Connell, who retired after last season), the league’s 2nd season already looked to be off to a promising beginning. On Thursday, the promotion announced quite a few returnees and new signings, for example 2018 standouts Chris Wade (14-5) and Andre Harrison (201 ).

Wade, a former UFC light weight, lost a close split decision to eventual tournament winner Natan Schulte which cost him a spot in the PFL finals. He had one of the early Highlights of this 2018 season, launching a flying kick at Yuki Kawana before finishing with a first-round submission.
Harrison entered the 2018 PFL season having previously held that the league’s featherweight title, but also lost a significant decision in a rematch against Lance Palmer in the semifinals.
Additionally returning for one more crack at a PFL championship are light heavyweight Smealinho Rama (11-5-1), heavy weights Alex Nicholson (13-7) and also Kelvin Tiller (10-2), along with middleweight Sadibou Sy (7-4-1).
Notable newcomers added to the roster Thursday include former UFC fighters Jordan Johnson (10-0) and David Michaud (14-4), along with Brazilian Luis Rafael (33-1) who had been newly profiled on MMA Fighting.
