Northern Ireland director Michael O’Neill says his negative”have to respect” Belarus if they want to keep their 100% start to qualifying for Euro 2020.

Northern Ireland defeated Estonia within their opening fixture and also welcome the Belarusians, who were beaten 4-0 by the Netherlands, to Belfast on Sunday – and also O’Neill hopes to face a side who are”more of a threat to the counter-attack”.

O’Neill also praised the performances of two of the younger players, Jamal Lewis and Bailey Peacock-Farrell, from the 2-0 success over Estonia, while defender Gareth McAuley is available again following a hamstring injury.
