British number three Dan Evans was pumped out at the Miami Open minute round as Denis Shapovalov recovered from moving down a set to advancement.
Evans, the planet number 97, took the opening set 6-4 before the 20th seeded Canadian stormed the second 61.
The 19-year-old then saved two break points because he shut out the next 6-3 to win in two hours a minute.
Evans only reached the main draw as a’lucky loser’ before beating Tunisia’s Malek Jaziri to reach the next round.
Shapovalov will meet up with the winner of the game between Croatia’s ninth seed Marin Cilic along with Russia’s Andrey Rublev.
Meanwhile, Leonardo Mayer defeat fellow Argentine Guido Pella and Portugal’s Joao Sousa improved against American Steve Johnson.
