FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys‘ flirtation with the safety spot that week has landed them George Iloka, that decided to a one-year deal Saturday.

The Cowboys had made safety one among the targets in free service. Though six-time Pro Bowler Earl Thomas have been the topic of rumors since the conclusion of this 20 17 season, he was never a realistic thought for Dallas because of the cost. The Baltimore Ravens signed Thomas a week to your four-year, $55 million deal that included $32 million guaranteed.

He joins a safety group that has Jeff Heath, who’s started 3-1 of the previous 32 matches, also Xavier Woods as the starters, together with Kavon Frazier and Darian Thompson as backups. The Cowboys are expected to deliver a thick look in the safeties offered in the upcoming draft.
