Australia batsman David Warner scored 85 on his Indian premier-league come back, after missing the past year’s championship after his engagement in a ball-tampering scandal.
The former Australia vice captain, 32, scored 85 off 53 balls to direct Sunrisers Hyderabad to a whole of 181-3 against Kolkata Knight Riders.
He place on 118 for the first wicket with England’s Jonny Bairstow.
Warner’s international ban ends later this month.
He was awarded a one year ban because of his role in the scandal during a Test match against South Africa last March.
The IPL then barred him from playing at the 2018 edition of the 20-over franchise championship.
The opener is anticipated to make Australia’s World Cup squad and play in the summer’s Ashes series in England.
Throughout his ban, he has also played T 20 franchise awards in Canada, Bangladesh and the Caribbean, also grade cricket in Australia.
