MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Brad Keselowski has won at Martinsville Speedway for his second victory of this summer season.
Keselowski routed the field and led 446 of those 500 laps round the shortest track on the NASCAR program. He was challenged a small number of times by Chase Elliott, however Elliott couldn’t get close enough to Keselowski from the final laps to make a run at the win.
The victory for Keselowski gives Team Penske along with also three Cup wins throughout six races this season from the brand new Ford Mustang.
Keselowski started third behind team mate Joey Logano, that led the first five laps of this race. Keselowski fleetingly nudged Logano outside of this groove over the sixth lap and took off to your rout.
Elliott passed once on trail and led 49 laps, but Keselowski reclaimed the lead on pit road and held on for his second career Martinsville grandfather clock.
