Newcastle lock Calum Green could find yourself a ban of 12 or more weeks after he was cited for allegedly biting Sale’s Rob Webber in Saturday’s Premiership match.

Referee Craig Maxwell-Keys mastered in the time there was no obvious evidence to do this within the 22nd-minute episode at St James’ Park.

But mentioning commissioner Andy Blyth has mentioned 28-year-old Green and he will face a disciplinary board on Wednesday.
