When Daniel Cormier pumped out Stipe Miocic in UFC 226, he gained a lot more than simply the UFC heavyweight title, he also acquired a romantic date using brocklesnar at some time in the future. Also it’SA romantic date Cormier still has his sights set on.
The Cormier-Lesnar fight started being encouraged instantly after Cormier won the title, with Lesnar being earned for a meeting where he shoved Cormier across the cage. The struggle looked inevitable for early this year until Cormier’therefore planned retirement in 40, with Lesnar re-entering the USADA testing pool. However, Lesnar wound extending his contract with the WWE that has thrown his MMA future up in the atmosphere. That wound up working out to Cormier though, who pushed his intended retirement to cure from some harms , also says he’s still planning on beating Lesnar as soon because he’s completed together using the WWE.
“I don’t have a struggle exactly scheduled but I got my eyes on Brock Lesnar,” Cormier told ESPN’s SportsCenter on Saturday later commentating UFC Nashville. “I may visit the WWE’s WrestleMania and that I can go cost him his own title over there so they could hurry up and get into the UFC so that I will beat him here. ”
Lesnar’s contract with the WWE only goes through their Wrestlemania event in 2013 and, even if reports are true, Lesnar could be UFC bound briefly after. Dana White is definitely optimistic this will be the case because he told Megan Olivi a week ago .
“I presume both guys really want this,” White said. I understand Cormier wants it bad, also Brock wants it bad. So, when two fighters want to fight eachother as bad as these two do, I think it’s likely to happen.
“brocklesnar is doing his thing with WWE. One of those matters about brocklesnar is, even when that guy is about to struggle, he isn’t shy. He’ll call me personally and he’ll let me know. To be honest with you, I’m hoping to hear from this guy this summer. ”
Wrestlemania occurs on April 7th. Perhaps we’ll visit Daniel Cormier create an appearance later like Brock did to him at UFC 226. Otherwise, there is no shortage of viable contenders for Cormier to protect his belt against instead.

Call-out of the recently crowned 3-time NCAA winner.
Get Timmy in the UFC.
Not gont lie into y’all, UFC Nashville was quite a horrendous card until Anthony Pettis saved it. GotId adore show time. In addition, if you haven’t seen it, I strongly encourage you to go listen to Bryce Mitchell’s scrum. He is hilarious. For instance:
Bryce Mitchell also reportedly requested new underwear every day on TUF therefore when he left he’d accumulated just like 100 pairs so he’d not ever need to purchase panties.
