Former Wales footballer Craig Bellamy has been awarded an 18 month ban after acknowledging to drinkdriving.

The 39-year-old was discontinued after departure a marked police car on Eastern Avenue in Cardiff on 9 March.

Magistrates in Cardiff discovered he was was found to possess 6 7 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 mililitres of breath. The limitation is 35.
