Megan Anderson can turn to make it two in a row if she next competes in newyork.

Officials declared Tuesday using a media release that Anderson will meet the debuting Felicia Spencer (6-0) at UFC Rochester on May 18. The bout was first reported by news.com.au.

Anderson, a former Invicta FC featherweight champion, is coming out of her first UFC success, though one which came as the result of an unfortunate eye injury into her competitor Cat Zingano. Only a minute into their struggle at UFC 232 last December, a high kick from Anderson grazed Zingano’s eye, leaving Zingano clutching at her face along with forcing the referee to wave away the bout. That improved Anderson’s listing to 11 in the UFC and 93 overall.

The recent Invicta winner at 145 pounds, Spencer will be departing that title behind to combine the UFC roster. All of her ace spells have happened under the Invicta banner ads and every one of have ended with her seeing her hands raised. Even the 28-year-old Canadian became winner using a fourth-round entry of Pam Sorenson within her most recent outing last November.

UFC Rochester will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Rafael dos Anjos along with Kevin Lee, also happens at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y.. The most important card will broadcast live on the ESPN+ streaming support.
