Tai Tuivasa is arriving straight back into “The Windy City”.
Returning to the site of the final win, Tuivasa is set to confront Blagoy Ivanov in UFC 238 on June 8 in United Center in Chicago, per The Daily Telegraph. That’s the exact same location where Tuivasa defeated Andrei Arlovski via unanimous decision last June in UFC 225.
The fight was supported on UFC.com.
The 26-year-old Tuivasa is 3-1 at the UFC so far, with defeated his first three Octagon opponents before succumbing to strikes at the second round of the most recent outing against former heavy weight winner Junior dos Santos, a most important event bout that took place in December in UFC Adelaide at Tuivasa’s home country of Australia. Before that reduction, the Tuivasa has been 8-0 as an expert with seven wins by first round knockout.
The 32-year-old Bulgarian rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Ben Rothwell last March. He’s won six of the last seven fights and had a very successful run with the former World Series of Struggling (currently the pro Fighters League) promotion, winning that company ’s heavyweight title and protecting it four times.
