The Boston Bruins already seem like in play off form, however they are becoming more firepower with word that Marcus Johansson along with Torey Krug are straight back from trauma.

Johansson was identified as having a lung contusion after having a thick collision with Hurricanes forwards Micheal Ferland March 5 and has been outside since. Johansson spent a night at Massachusetts General Hospital for tests and analysis subsequent to the injury.

Johansson, who had been obtained from the New Jersey Devils at the trade deadline, then slots in to the next line with Jake DeBrusk along with David Krejci for Wednesday’s match against the Rangers at Boston. Krug will man the blueline with Brandon Carlo and must be about the point for the Bruins’ No. 1 power-play unit.

“It’s a good time to get in, get a few excellent match in,” Johansson said. “We need to build our match toward the playoffs. I am only excited. It’s going to be more interesting to return playing in front of our home crowd.”
