CHICAGO — Chicago forwards Lauri Markkanen overlooked the Bulls‘ game Wednesday night against the Portland trailblazers after remaining overnight in Toronto because of the team called”extreme fatigue.”
Markkanen was evaluated in the training room by the Bulls’ health team and Toronto’s team physician later departing the first half Tuesday night at a loss to the Raptors. He failed more tests in a hospital after a game and stayed in Toronto overnight. The Bulls state he was evaluated at Chicago on Wednesday.
The 7-footer in Finland is averaging 18.7 points and 9.0 rebounds in his second season.
