Hudson-Odoi, 18, has won his 1st two England caps at the past week, but never started a Premier League game.
“It might be that he lifts the team at a different manner and gives them a different measurement,” explained Hasselbaink.
“Chelsea should attract more youngsters through. I would say Hudson-Odoi deserves a opportunity.”
Hudson-Odoi, that came through the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge, forced his firstteam introduction as being a 17-year-old at January 2018, certainly one of four looks as a replacement last year.
He has played 19 matches in all competitions this term, all of which are off the bench.

“It’s easy to say things and criticise, however let us forget what he’s inherited and how a team was playing until he got there,” said former Netherlands international Hasselbaink.
“He changed the fashion entirely and that’s definitely going to take time.
