MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Golden State Warriors forward Jordan Bell was suspended one game for”conduct detrimental to the team,” the Warriors announced Wednesday.

Bell will serve the suspension during Tuesday night’s match against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The suspension comes as a surprise given that Bell participated in the Warriors’ Tuesday night practice in Memphis and seemed to be in good spirits.

After a great rookie season, Bell has struggled to get a frequent place in coach Steve Kerr’s rotation.

Bell is averaging 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds a game this year.
