This past year NASCAR Euro Series motorist Frederic Gabillon and NASCAR Pinty’s-series motorist J.F. Dumoulin swapped rides in eachother ’s series and this season Ruben Garcia Jr. will be the following NASCAR winner to earn the visit to Europe.
The winner of the 2019 title in Europe will subsequently go Mexico and compete in the Mexico Series Nov. 30-Dec. 1 in Mexico City.
The Euro Series has seen 25 of its drivers compete in the USA throughout its motorist exchange program.
“Over 25 Euro drivers raced at each level of NASCAR from the united states thanks to their own entry in our tournament,” declared NWES President-CEO Jerome Galpin. “This can be another measure to continue to develop the Series and provide the very best career opportunities to all our drivers.
&ldquoWe are happy to work with your friends from the NASCAR International group and the NASCAR International Series from Mexico and Canada to build strong and innovative programs. We’ve got great projects altogether which is merely the beginning of a much bigger vision. ”
Garcia will drive the No. 1 Alex Caffi Motorsport Toyota Camry within his European introduction. Garcia, that is competing full time from the NASCAR K&N Guru Series East, already boasts two East Series wins and seven Mexico Series wins despite being just 23 yrs old.
“I’m really excited to go run in the Euro NASCAR Series,” Garcia stated. “This is some thing I have been trying to do for quite a long time, but the chance never revealed up until now.
“Racing in Spain makes this much more special as it is one of my favourite areas to see, and that I have friends living there that can come watch me race. I’m quite frustrated and counting the days to have on the trip to Valencia.
“This is a superb opportunity to show fans in Europe how good your competition is in the series and it will be fun to find where I’m at against other drivers. ”
