Utah Jazz reserve point guard Dante Exum underwent surgery to repair a partially torn patellar tendon in his knee Wednesday and remains out indefinitely, the team announced Thursday.
Exum left a week’s 120-100 success within the Minnesota Timberwolves after three minutes together with what had been described as knee soreness.
The extent of the injury was revealed a day later in an MRI.
Exum had returned after missing 25 games with a left ankle sprain and bone bruise.
In the three games since his return, he had been scoreless, with three assists and 3 rebounds in 27 minutes.
