Michael Irvin announced in a Insta-gram article Sunday that the testing he underwent for throat cancer returned 100 percent blank.
The Dallas Cowboys legend had written in a Insta-gram post a week he had spent two days at a Los Angeles hospital getting the tests.
On Sunday he expressed gratitude for the outpouring”of love, support and prayers” he’s received since his article a week.
The Hall of Fame receiver said a week which after his former team beat the New Orleans Saints at Novemberhe”was so elated and hyped I lost my voice and also the issue lasted for almost [two] months.”
He prompted him to consult with various throat pros, who advocated a biopsy.
Irvin, 53, noted from the article a week which his father died of throat cancer at the age of 51.
Former team mate Emmitt Smith celebrated the news using a tweet Sunday.

A three-time superbowl winner, Irvin suffered a back injury from 1999 that cut short his playing career.
