Michelle Waterson mightn’t contain the No. 1 ranking at the UFC strawweight branch, but following her execution in UFC on ESPN two on Saturday night at Philadelphia, she believes she ought to be in consideration for a go at the winner of their UFC 237 headlining bout between strawweight winner Rose Namajunas along with challenger Jessica Andrade.
Waterson is also 5-2 complete at the Octagon and is just a former Invicta FC winner.
While a loss to the current winner doesn’t ordinarily play at a fighter’so prefer to find yet another title shot, then it might actually workin Waterson’s prefer. Namajunas defeated Waterson 2 years ago, but wasn’t yet a UFC winner. So Waterson might have put herself at a position by which a championship rematch might be the narrative that the UFC brass might prefer to promote.
